Local Farm Tour

Hammock Greens

Join us on Friday, February 16 from 2-4 p.m. for a tour of one of UM dining's local produce farmers, Hammock Greens, located in Miami Overtown. Thomas Smitherman, the founder, built the first Hammock Greens farm inside a refurbished shipping container. "After a few years of blood, sweat, and greens, Hammock Greens has expanded into 11 farms." Register now! (Only 20 spots available.)

Take the Mobility Survey, Win Prizes!

Each year, the Office of Sustainability distributes a survey to all UM students, faculty, and staff to gather information on commuting practices. This year, we are also partnering directly with Parking & Transportation and Campus Planning & Development. The information collected from this survey will be used to determine the future direction of alternative mobility here at the U. Please complete this short survey on your commuting practices. The survey will close at the end of February.
