Premios Verdes 10th edition will take place at the University of Miami in April 2023. Premios Verdes is the most relevant social and environmental movement in the hemisphere. Each year, they identify, connect, and amplify the most important social and environmental projects around the world. Participants can now register their projects under a new category, "Academic Sustainability Research," and help market-oriented and science-based solutions address the UN 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Redirecting food waste from landfills creates less methane, while also returning nutrients from food scrap to the soil through compost application in your vegetable garden. The Higher Education Climate Leadership Summit, hosted by Second Nature and the Intentional Endowments Network, is the premier annual gathering of higher education leaders committed to addressing inequality and the climate crisis.
