Less Heat at the Wellness

The Student Government ECO Agency – through a collaborative effort between the Office of Sustainability, the Herbert Wellness Center, and the Division of Facilities Operation and Planning – recently sponsored the installation of heat trapping films on the Wellness Center main entrance windows, another example of ECO's commitment to reducing UM's eco-footprint! Learn more.

Recycle Right, Recycle Smart

ECO reps are launching various initiative this semester. To combat single stream recycling contamination, they will equip all blue buckets with a QR code label to help residents know what not to throw in it. At Lakeside Village, a voice activation device will be teaching residents not to throw their plastic bags in the recycling chute.
