DCC with Business and Finance: Raise Cancer Research Funding, Together

We're approximately one month away from the Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC). If you are currently fundraising for DCC, keep up the great work! It is incredible how many people will support your fundraising goals because they stand in solidarity to find a cure for this disease. I especially look forward to supporting cancer research together at the DCC event on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Hard Rock Stadium.

If you're considering signing up to participate, take a look at some ways you can get involved in the DCC:

Ride

From 14 miles to 100 miles, make your mark in this year's DCC by cycling with colleagues and fellow cancer fighters. Select your team based on your campus affiliation, click "Join Team," and use the teamhurricanes100 promo code for free registration:

Run/Walk

Whether you run, jog, or walk – feel UM 'Canes pride as you cross the 5k finish line while standing up to cancer! Select your team based on your campus affiliation, click "Join Team," and use the teamhurricanes100 promo code for free registration:

Volunteer

B&F volunteers will support the event by distributing water to the many DCC 5k participants. Do you want to take part as a volunteer? Sign up for the event by submitting your contact information online.

Donate

Every dollar donated goes a long way towards the fight against cancer! Contribute to your colleagues as they fundraise for the DCC, or donate directly to your campus: Coral Gables/RSMAS or Medical/UHealth.

The DCC provides critical philanthropic support to the University's Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center (SCCC), and it is a family-friendly team event with the option to run, walk, cycle, or even ride virtually – something for all members of the 'Canes family.

With your partnership, we will have the largest team in the University's history at the DCC. Plus, taking part in the DCC is an opportunity to share our experiences and give something valuable back to our friends and family: raising cancer research funding, together.

I truly appreciate your attention to this important fundraising initiative, and I'm looking forward to celebrating with Team Hurricanes at DCC next month!

See you at the finish line.
