Miami Climate Symposium
The Miami Climate Symposium 2020: Predicting and Living with Extremes, a three-day event hosted by the University of Miami, featured scientists from across the country discussing the impacts of climate change. The findings were presented at a community forum on campus with a panel discussion that included alumnus Michael Jarro, B.S.M.E. '97, and highlighted advocacy work by Xavier Cortada, A.B. '86, J.D. '91, M.P.A. '91.
