Gerald Pinnas, M.D. '64, physician, alumnus, and MAA board member, passed away February 10 after a long battle with cancer.

Sukkar, a recipient of the John K. Robinson Endowed Scholarship, is focused on transforming her love of children into a career in pediatrics.

After graduating from the Miller School, Smith completed emergency medicine training and joined Brown University in 2006 as part of the faculty.

Thank you to all who attended Medical Alumni Weekend 2018. It was a great opportunity for many of us to catch up with classmates and see the latest at the Miller School of Medicine. 

Thanks to you, the Miller School won the first-place trophy for a second consecutive year, along with a $5,000 prize which will go towards the John K. Robinson Scholarship Fund. Watch the video below for a special thanks from Dr. Abraham. 

After three and a half years of medical school and a long residency application process, Miller School of Medicine students learned where they'll continue their medical training on Match Day.  See where the Class of 2018 matched.

Students enjoyed dinner while having the opportunity to visit with 55 local physicians, many of whom work in private practice and represent a number of different specialties. A majority of the physicians were Miller School alumni, including Alan Serure, M.D. ’79, a plastic surgeon, who generously underwrote the Career Advising Dinner event this year.
