Windows XP Dell PC System for $544

Medical Information Technology has negotiated a price of $544 for a basic Dell Optiplex 170L desktop computer (without monitor) suitable for use on our campus network. If you’re using an older PC—especially if it is running the Windows 95, 98, or NT operating systems—we strongly recommend that it be replaced. These older operating systems are no longer supported by Microsoft. New PCs, like this basic system that runs the Windows XP Professional operating system, offer substantial improvements in speed, stability and security. For details on this Dell system, and on how to purchase a computer through Medical Information Technology, see our web site at http://it.med.miami.edu/x875.xml.
