Faculty Senate Awards Ceremony and Reception
Members of the University community are invited to join President Donna E. Shalala at the Faculty Senate Awards Ceremony and reception this Thursday at 5 p.m. on the Coral Gables campus in Storer Auditorium, School of Business Administration.
For the first time ever, and on a one-year trial basis, all three Faculty Senate Award recipients will be honored in one ceremony. They are:
• Steven Green, professor of biology, recipient of the James W. McLamore Outstanding Service Award
• Manuel Huerta, professor of physics, recipient of the Outstanding Teaching Award
• Bernard Oxman, professor of law, recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award
