A Hand in Global Guidelines for Gene Editing

A bioethicist and lawyer, UM’s Rosario Isasi was on the task force that issued the American Society for Human Genetics’ policy statement on gene editing last week—a day after U.S. scientists reported they had successfully altered a gene to erase a disease-causing mutation.
