Miami freshman guard Lonnie Walker IV was named the ACC Co-Rookie of the Week for the second straight week and third time overall. He had a team high 16 points against Pitt and a 14-point outing versus Virginia Tech. The two wins pushed the ‘Canes back into the top 25 polls.
