Parking Enforcement Update

Please be advised of the following important updates regarding parking on the Coral Gables campus:

New student move-in and 'Cane Kickoff orientation program (Monday, August 13 through Sunday, August 19) – Permit parking enforcement is lifted. A valid parking permit is NOT required on these days (this excludes the purple zone, preferred lots, reserved and service spaces).

Fall term color zone restrictions - Enforcement of all color zones will begin Monday, August 20. A parking permit is required to park on campus 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. All permit holders must park in their assigned color zones Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The color restrictions will be lifted after 4 p.m. on weeknights and throughout the weekend. During these times permit holders can park in any color zone.

Preferred and restricted parking zones/lots, including reserved and service spaces are enforced 24/7/365.

Please take care when driving around the campus and remember that the speed limit is 15 miles per hour on all internal campus roads.
