Green Healthcare

Accelerating the Transition to Climate-Smart Healthcare

Healthcare is on the frontline of climate change, bearing the costs of increased diseases, and, more frequently, severe or extreme weather events. It is critical that hospitals are able to care for people not only during and after extreme weather events, but also to address the social determinants of health to build resilient communities. Health Care Without Harm works with hospitals across the country on climate solutions in a three-pillar framework of mitigation, resilience, and leadership. Learn how hospitals can support the transition to climate-smart healthcare with Jessica Wolff, U.S. Director of Climate and Health, Health Care Without Harm and Practice Greenhealth on Friday, July 17 from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
