WELLNESS FACILITY PLANNING AT THE
MEDICAL CENTER NEEDS YOUR INPUT

The School of Medicine is in the final stages of planning a state-of-the-art Wellness Facility and Program designed specifically to meet the needs of the medical center students, faculty, and employees at both UM and Jackson. Located on the top floors of a new parking garage to be constructed near the Professional Arts Center, the 60,000 square foot facility will feature weight training and cardiovascular exercise equipment, a full range of fitness classes, and amenities including private showers with towel service, lockers, and a specialized food service to offer fresh juice, health shakes, nutritional sandwiches, and more. To ensure that the final program and facility plans meet potential member needs and expectations, you may be asked to participate in a telephone survey soon. This survey will take only a short time and will be invaluable to those planning the facility. If you are called, your participation is strongly encouraged.
