FROM COLLEGE OF AMERICAN PATHOLOGISTS

The University of Miami Pathology Specialty Services (PSS) has achieved “Accreditation with Distinction” from the Commission for Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for the second consecutive inspection cycle. The CAP accreditation team inspected the laboratory’s records and quality control for the preceding two years. TELECOMMUNICATIONS STREAMLINES
SERVICES FOR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION

The Department of Telecommunications recently completed the "Voice of the Customer" initiative, during which customer service representatives visited every building on campus to review telecommunications services and needs. Information packages were provided as needed and recommendations made to improve the operational efficiency or cost-effectiveness of each department from a telecommunications perspective. As a direct result of this initiative, several departments will begin to realize immediate savings that in the aggregate will exceed $26,000 annually. As a value-added service, the representatives are available for free on-site consultations. If you would like to discuss your department's telecommunications needs or concerns, call 305 284-6565 to schedule an appointment.
