U.S. NEWS & WORLD REPORT RECOGNIZES UMSM'S PHYSICAL THERAPY PROGRAM AS AMONG THE BEST

Faculty in the Division of Physical Therapy have taken strides to emphasize excellence in teaching, service, and research, and their hard work has paid off. The March 31 issue of U.S. News & World Report lists the UM Physical Therapy Masters Program as number three in the nation among "America's Best Graduate Schools." The results of two surveys are used to rank the schools. Graduate program deans rate the programs' reputations in their respective areas while practitioners in each discipline submit their top rankings. Among the characteristics evaluated are the quality of students and faculty, as well as each program's success in educating students.
