GIVE THE GIFT OF WELLNESS
THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
The University’s Wellness Center has gift certificates available for
massage therapy, fitness testing, instructional classes, membership (must meet
eligibility requirements), and other services. Tell someone you really care
by giving them a healthy start to the new year. For information on gift certificates
for wellness and fitness services, call the wellness suite at 305-284-LIFE
(5433). For information on gift certificates for membership, call the membership
office at 305-284-8540.
HEALTH AND BEAUTY CONVERGE
AT UM/SYLVESTER SPECIALTY SHOP
UM/Sylvester has expanded its services to patients to enhance beauty as well
as health. The Beautywise Specialty Shop on the ground floor of the Sylvester
Comprehensive Cancer Center offers wigs, breast prosthetic devices and clothing,
and special beauty products tailored to the needs of cancer patients. Other
specialty services and products include books, relaxation CDs, makeup, massages,
and manicures.

SCHOOL OF MEDICINE BOOKSTORE
ANNOUNCES 2002 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
Take note of changes in hours of operation and holiday closings in the coming
weeks at the Medical Bookstore. The bookstore will be closed on December 24
and 25; open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on December 26 and 27; and closed December
28 – January 1. Regular hours of operation will resume on January 2.
